Weekend in The Foothills of The Himalayas

I am off the Ananda Spa for a long overdue break and some well deserved R&R.

The palace was built 129 years ago, for the Maharaja of Tehri Garhwal. His descendants have now leased out this property to Ananda Spa. Here, at the foothills of the Himalayas, right next to Rishikesh and Haridwar---is the luxurious resort--Ananda.

I hope to experience the various ayurvedic,yoga and meditation programmes and come back feeling refreshed and cleansed.
