Imagination Rendered

Original post
I am a huge fan of Michelle's blog. I was drawn there primarily because of her exceptional rendering skills. I find that hand rendering often conveys a supposed reality a lot more effectively and magically than one created using the various software available. Perhaps it is because it conveys the idea of a particular space and yet retains a limitless potential for experimentation. It brings you a concept that seems complete, but that challenges you to take it further and explore beyond the lines on the paper.

It is also more diffcicult, as most renderings on paper require you to assess what will be the focus and what melts into the paper to create the negative spaces, essential to creating. The art lies in that. Not just create a space but make it seem alive.

Which is why Michelle's work is par excellence. Every single rendering speaks to you and allows you to find your own inspiration. And inspire it does !! Every single time.
